I’m new to the one pan meal craze. But I love the idea!
Less dishes means I’m hanging out with the family rather than working like Cinderella after dinner.
And I’m not waking up to the bomb that went off in the kitchen because I prioritized games and story time over cleanup.
What Exactly is a one dish meal?
One dish means dinner is on the table in less than an hour with less than 15 minutes of prep.
There is only one pan that everything is cooked in, whether that is in the oven or on the stove.
I call that a win!
So this week I’m going all one pan meals. I need them to be 2B Friendly, so for dinner that means 75% veggies with 25% protein. And they have to be family friendly, which means no seafood in our house.
I’m new to the 2B Mindset, but I’m learning to transition to it one step at a time. So far, I LOVE it!
I grew up outside of Seattle, so I love most things that swim. My husband on the other hand grew up in the midwest and finds anything from the water highly suspicious.
For us this means we eat a lot of chicken, but I try to trade in some other meats and then on leftover nights I indulge in seafood.
